About Savannah Way

With an avid interest in psychology and the process of communicating human interaction into something visual and tangible, mixed media artist Savannah Way likes to consider her artworks steps toward better understanding and appreciating the often-overlooked depth to human relationships. After researching humans and their interactions through three separate majors (Biology, Psychology, and Art), she has decided to make it her goal to learn the language of human reasoning and communication.  She attained her BFA at Appalachian State University. Over the course of her time as an art student at Appalachian State, she had had the opportunity to show her work at several venues in downtown Boone, North Carolina for the First Friday Art Crawl, take part in creating a permanent installation at the FARM café, and offer both her artistic and biological experience in creating a zine for the Climate Change exhibition in the Smith gallery in the fall of 2017.
